The life expectancy of the population has increased due to improvements in medicine, public health, nutrition, income, education, and migration [1]. Between 2015 and 2030, “The number of people in the world aged 60 and over is expected to grow by 56%, from 901 million to 1.4 billion” [2]. Consequently, long-term care and age-related chronic illness increases in addition to treatment of disease, resulting in longer life expectancy. The quality of a persons’ life has been shown to be of equal importance to life expectancy [2,3].
