Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is one of the most common and severe neuromuscular disorders. Since there is no cure, treatments aim to improve health, prolong life and increase quality of life. Currently, tools to measure these outcomes are lacking. The caregiver priorities and child health index of life with disabilities (CPCHILD) questionnaire is a measure of health-related quality of life that was developed for children with severe disabilities and has been validated for children with non-ambulant cerebral palsy.
